Aquatics Academy offers a variety of swim camp programs for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Aquatics Academy Swim Camp programs are offered during Winter Break (Christmas holidays); March Break & Passover Break; and throughout the summer holidays.
We also offer day swim camp programs in Toronto during PA Days (TDSB, YRDSB), making it possible for parents to rely on a completely supervised day of activity. With a combination of instructional swim and recreational swim, our programs allow kids to learn and enjoy at the same time.
In our camp programs we provide a minimum of 2 hours of pool time daily including 1 hour of instructional swim.
Aquatics Academy Swim Camp programs are offered at our Head Office located at 2 Champagne Dr. North York, ON M3J 2C5
With swim camp programs, Aquatics Academy combines a fixed time for swim instruction as well as additional time for leisure swim. Depending on the time of year, there are additional indoor and outdoor activities incorporated into the day, and always enough time dedicated to arts and crafts, team building games and activities.
Swim camp is an ideal opportunity to develop swim skills while having some great “downtime”. Whether your child is a novice swimmer or more advanced, our camp programs offer a full day of instruction, activities, and special events. What a great way to make new friends, build confidence and self esteem.
Our experienced team of certified instructors supervise camp participants from the moment they are dropped off until the minute they are picked up. We keep the kids engaged and active, and looking forward to coming back the next day. And for our parents – it’s completely stress-free.
One of the big benefits of our swim camp programs is the day-to-day swimming regimen. In fact, swim lessons on a daily basis are known to have a huge impact on both learning and retention. Whatever the time of year, our camp programs could be one of the better options to choose.
Camp Hours are from 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. After care available until 5:00 pm for an additional cost.
At Aquatics Academy, we strive for a student/instructor ratio that is low – it allows for a more personalized approach, and especially so for beginner swimmers who really need it. With a low student/instructor ratio, no one gets “lost in the crowd”, as instructors focus on improving skills.
Our swimming instructors are all certified, and our senior staff oversees all swim programs. This approach allows us to provide a high level of instruction and swimmer safety. Best of all, each of our swimming facilities is clean, safe, and comfortable – a welcome environment for everyone.
For the convenience of our families, we currently operate three GTA locations. Our main facility is centrally located in North York, making for convenient access from all parts of the city. Families enjoy spacious change rooms, and everything from body wash, to shampoo, to hair dryers.
At Aquatics Academy, we’re always available to discuss personal issues or needs in whatever swim program you’re enrolled. Where required, we can create a class or program that is more customized – something that might better suit your exact needs – just ask one of our senior staff!
To find out more about summer swimming camps and other regular programs, contact us directly for lesson descriptions and scheduling. We’ll suggest a suitable program, whether for pleasure, for training, or for special needs. Everything we do is focused on providing the best swim instruction possible.
